International students who have been admitted to another SEVP certified institution may wish for Trinity to transfer their current SEVIS record to that institution. This program should be submitted by any international student currently maintaining their status intending to fully enroll at another educational institution. Completion of this request grants authorization to ISSS to release your SEVIS immigration record to the other institution. 

In order for students to complete this request, student should be prepared to upload official proof of admission to the new institution. 

Instructions:

1. Current copies of the following documents must be on your ISSS application:
   • Admissions Letter from the other institution
   • SEVIS record transfer form from the other institution (if there is one)

All items must be submitted before ISSS will process your request.

How do I transfer out of Trinity?

Step 1: Login to your ISSS application on this site and upload your admissions letter from the other institution. Select the Documents tab and the ISSS Transfer Docs option under Upload New Documents.

Step 2: Upload your SEVIS Record Transfer Form from the other institution (if there is one). Select the Documents tab and the ISSS Transfer Docs option under Upload New Documents.

Step 3: Email ISSS (isss@trinity.edu) after finishing steps 1 and 2.

NOTE: ISSS will transfer your record to your new institution by the designated date.
