Want to know more about Trinity's Exchange Partners? Trinity's Exchange Partners allow students to study abroad for a semester at a reduced cost and most importantly students can take advantage of a unique experience that is not available through traditional study abroad program providers. Trinity has agreements with a select group of universities where Trinity students will literally swap places with a local student. For example, a Trinity student will study at Ewha Womans University and a student from Ewha will come to Trinity for their study abroad experience.

How are exchanges more affordable?
Students who study for a semester with an exchange partner are only billed for Tuition and Fees. Students will not be changed for Housing and Meals on their semester eBill. The costs for housing and meals are paid directly to their host institution which is often at a reduced cost compared to costs by U.S. institutions.

Is the application process the same as with Program Providers?
No. Students who plan to study abroad with an exchange partner must first be nominated by Trinity Study Abroad. After receiving confirmation from the host institution that the students have been confirmed, they are then welcome to apply for admission.  Typically, confirmed students do not have any issues being accepted by our partners.

Who will help me with my application and Visa?
The Trinity Study Abroad Office will assist students with every step of the process.  Applications, Visas, and everything else in the middle, Trinity Study Abroad will help you along the way.

Will I receive a Study Abroad Meal Stipend?
No. Students are not billed by Trinity for meals since meal costs are paid directly onsite.

Can I use my Trinity Institutional Aid, State Aid, Federal Air, VA Benefits, Loans, etc.
Yes! Aid from Trinity and other sources may be applied to the cost of your study abroad experience just like normal.

Is the cost of airfare included?
No. Students are responsible for airfare, independent travel, Passport/Visa fees and all other costs associated with travel to/from your host country.
