International Students & Scholar Services

International Student & Scholar Services provides immigration advising, academic support, and programming opportunities for international students and scholars. ISSS works to ensure a smooth transition and welcoming environment for those coming to campus from across the globe.

 

For students, the office coordinates pre-arrival preparation, provides immigration advising, and hosts a variety of cultural programs. ISSS also provides guidance on how to obtain Social Security cards and driver's licenses, and how to file taxes in the United States. Additionally, ISSS supports international alumni with their post-graduation career and immigration plans. Scholars receive H-1B immigration advising and support in transitioning to work at Trinity University.

International Students represent approximately ten percent of Trinity's total student population and bring the world to Trinity by sharing their diverse perspectives in classrooms, athletics, residential life, research programs, internships, student government, study abroad, on-campus employment, student organizations, and fraternities and sororities.
