Program Description:
Summer Archaeological Projects Abroad

Archaeological field experience is imperative for Trinity students who are considering graduate school or a career in archaeology.

If you are interested in attending an archaeological summer project abroad, please contact either Dr. Jennifer Mathews or Dr. Nicolle Hirschfeld about the possibility of participating in a summer archaeological field school abroad. Drs. Mathews and Hirschfeld will meet with students individually (depending on the area of the world they are interested in conducting fieldwork) to identify a pedagogically-sound field school based on the students’ geographical, cultural, or skill-based interests. 

The Study Abroad Office will then verify that the selected program(s) meets Trinity's health, safety, and academic standards before a student is approved to study abroad.

Please allow ample time as the approval and vetting process may require significant time.
